Neville Brody’s talk this morning was pretty cool, although i couldn’t help but feel as if i was at uni being lectured at. The work he showed was very nice, in partucular the work him and his studio did for The Times newspaper when they wanted to re size there paper. Lots of niggly bits of intricousy on things like kerning leading and other type stuff.
The general theme of the talk was about taking risks in our design work in order to help design progress in the future. All very lectury although the point was well made, as i’m sure it always is with him!
Top dude!
